Mar 9, 2011 at 8:55 PM

using this query: https://sohounzeitigeu2.crm4.dynamics.com/xrmservices/2011/OrganizationData.svc/AccountSet?$select=AccountId&$filter=AccountId eq guid'C86FF0BB-333B-E011-895E-1CC1DE6D3B23'

I get this error

Security error.
at System.Net.Browser.ClientHttpWebRequest.InternalEndGetResponse(IAsyncResult asyncResult)   at System.Net.Browser.ClientHttpWebRequest.EndGetResponse(IAsyncResult asyncResult)   at CRM.Tools.ODataQueryDesigner.QueryDesignerViewModel.<>c__DisplayClass1a.<>c__DisplayClass1c.<DownloadRawContentATOM>b__19()

also the generated url is:

https://sohounzeitigeu2.crm4.dynamics.com//xrmservices/2011/OrganizationData.svc/AccountSet?$select=AccountId&$filter=AccountId eq guid'C86FF0BB-333B-E011-895E-1CC1DE6D3B23'

I think the double slashes are an error ??

Thanks Unto for the feedback. I have resolved the // in the next release although it doesn't cause any issues as you can see when you run the same url query from the browser.

There seems to be a cross-domain or cross-schema issue occuring when used from CRM Online when executing the OData query using the Execute button. The only way around this at the moment is to select Execute and after the error select Show in Browser. This will at least allow you to test the query. I have forwarded my testing of this issue to MS and am waiting a resolution.

Thanks once again.

I'm having the exact same problem. Importing the tool went smooth enough but when attempting to execute a very simple query I get the security error.

Query

https://plsyscon.crm4.dynamics.com/xrmservices/2011/OrganizationData.svc/SalesOrderSet?$select=*&$orderby=CreatedOn asc&$filter=SalesOrderId eq guid'15A12A24-5A67-E011-878C-0026558302BB'

Error

Security error.

   at System.Net.Browser.ClientHttpWebRequest.EndGetResponse(IAsyncResult asyncResult)

The only way around this at the moment is to select Execute and after the error select Show in Browser. This will at least allow you to test the query. When using the tool on CRM Online the OData service call trys to redirect to the live login page due to an authentication issue through Silverlight.
